After graduating with her Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing, Courtney Barnes began her career in the real estate and multi-family housing industry. Courtney quickly became a top sales specialist for CLASS, the most experienced leasing firm in the United States. Recognizing her strong desire to help owners maximize the value on their assets, Courtney was hired as the Corporate Trainer and District Property Manager for Makowsky Ringel Greenberg, the second largest apartment management company in Memphis, Tennessee.

After years in the management business, Courtney decided to put her professional sales experience and intense negotiating skills to work by becoming a licensed commercial and residential real estate agent. She has helped numerous owners/investors maximize the value of their properties; however, her true passion has been in helping families find their dream home. She realizes that a person home is their biggest investment. As a seasoned professional she studies local economic conditions in very specific neighborhoods and on a national level as well. Her selling strategies are equipped to get your home sold in this market for the highest price because she tailors each client’s plan for their specific needs.

Courtney has over fifteen (15) years in the real estate business, assisting buyers and sellers. Courtney not only has a passion for selling, but she also trains other companies and agents on how to become a top sales producer. She has been a sales instructor for national associations and designations such as NALP, CAM, and Fair Housing and Beyond through NAA and IREM.

Courtney is a past President and chairperson for the Memphis Apartment Association where she won the award for Top Associate of the Year. She is also a recipient of the Memphis Area Association of Realtors Pinnacle Award, recognizing the top commercial brokers in the city of Memphis.
